  1. Mount Partition:

  3. To mount a partition onto the desktop:
  4.  
  5. 1.    Select a drive from the top of the GCC Partitions window.
  6.  
  7. NOTE:  You cannot mount an A/UX or ProDOS partition.
  8.  
  9. 2.    Select a partition from the middle of the window.
  10.  
  11. 3.    Click the Mount button.  If the partition is passworded, a dialog will appear asking for the password.  If the password typed in by you is correct, the partition is mounted onto the desktop.

  13. NOTE:  When you type in your password for a given partition, you have three chances.  Once you fail for the third time, that partition cannot be mounted until the Macintosh is restarted.  After each restart, you have three chances to successfully type in the correct password.

  15. You can also mount a partition by double-clicking on its name, or by clicking once on the name and pressing the Return key.
